Ever since I started drinking, I would always drink the same beer. It was either Guinness, Sam Adams, or Blue Moon. Those three were my goto beers. I never strayed, and I think I'm missing out. I want to expand my beer knowledge. Last week I tried Brooklyn Lager, and I wasn't impressed. This week is Magic Hat Autumn.

So my Saturn died. Well it didn't die, but I killed it. Mechanically it is still sound (sorta). I was getting onto 287 North at exit 10, and while accelerating I noticed cars at a dead stop. Because it is the acceleration lane, I had to slam on the breaks. Because of my slow reaction time, I swerved onto the grass shoulder and BAMMMMM, ran into the huge 287 sign. The sign was the big exit sign (the size of a queen size bed). It weighed about 300lbs. Two guys rushed to my aide, and told me the story.

Michael Moore jumped on the "giving things away for free" bandwagon. In his latest stunt he is giving away his new movie "Slacker Uprising." (Erin, I'm too lazy to underline, sorry). If you want the disc it costs $10. I noticed this on my TiVo, and immediately downloaded it.

After the announcement on Tuesday regarding the 2.1 firmware upgrade, I was waiting eagerly to upgrade. I go to plug in my iphone and upgrade, and the problem hits me.

In 10.5.4, the mac program addressbook.app allowed google contact sync. Of course I was very happy, and started the process. The problem started when the inevitable duplicates came up. I forgot what I said, but the next thing I know is that I had duplicates. I decided to delete (backup and remove) the address book contacts. I tried to resync, and it failed. I had a major problem. My google contacts also became corrupt. I decided that mac/google syncing is not worth it. What I had to do is rebuild google from my outlook list. It took a day or two

I was listening to someone on the radio or one of my podcasts the other day where he stated that youtube is the only place to watch music videos. I thought about it for a few minutes, and I got very angry that he was right. YouTube (video sites) are the only place to watch music videos.

I did lose my iphone for about 10 minutes. No excuses, but I had that new phone feel in the pocket, where you are not used to something. I must have accidentally put it down, and didn't realize. I want to thank the nice family that found it for me. I gave them a nice finders fee for doing the right thing.
