But it was MY TURN!
I have been with my darling husband for 5 years now. Four years ago he dropped a nice chunk of change on a used car after driving his old one into the ground. At the time, I thought that meant I would be the next one to get a new car when mine finally died. I love my current car, but it is showing its age and, after 7 years, I'd like a new flavor.
Then my darling husband starting getting into accidents. One...some dings and dents...Two...the bumper falls off...Three...a giant 300 lb. road sign falling on the car...and the car is now dead. Well, maybe not dead, but wheezing its last fumes. Definitely not even drivable.
I am taking a moment to honor my husband's late car. You were much beloved, and much abused. RIP.
So me and my 10 year old car will be together for a while yet. Its seven years and counting, but he's held up like a champ.
At the end of the day, I can't help but feel annoyed with my darling husband, after all why must I be punished for being a better driver?!?
